ADVANCED TRACTION
Lexus NX features a series of advanced systems to enhance your confidence and control under a variety of conditions. All wheel drive (AWD) with dynamic torque control detects and helps prevent wheel spin. Traction control (TRAC) increases grip when accelerating on slippery surfaces. Vehicle stability control (VSC) works to correct over- and under-steering. Hill start assist control (HAC) prevents your NX from roll back when starting on a steep hill.
ENHANCED RIDE & SHARPER HANDLING™
NX’s blend of handling stability and luxurious ride comfort take another step forward with a more rigid suspension and more responsive shock absorbers. On NX 300h the available adaptive variable suspension system now makes up to 650 instantaneous adjustments for even more precise control. Drive mode select customizes the damping forces to deliver a different mix of comfort and control between Normal, Eco, Sport S, and Sport+.
NX 300H HYBRID
Lexus NX 300h delivers both exceptional fuel efficiency and impressive performance. The continuously variable transmission (CVT) keeps you in the optimum power range at all times. Regenerative braking captures excess energy from applied brake pressure to recharge the battery — so that you never have to plug in. ADVANCED BRAKING SYSTEMS™
All NX models feature power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, an anti-lock braking system to help maintain control while braking, along with brake assist (BA) and electronic brake force distribution (EBD). BA provides additional braking pressure in panic-stop situations. EBD regulates the amount of stopping power sent to the front and rear wheels to enhance control.
BLIND SPOT MONITOR AND REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT
Most packages now feature Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) with Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA). BSM visually and audibly warns you of vehicles in your blind spot. While RCTA warns you of approaching vehicles when in reverse. NX 300 equipped with F SPORT Series 2 and 3 packages, adds Clearance and Backup Sensors for additional peace of mind.
