LX 570 is the only SUV in its class with true body-on-frame construction setting the standard for all-surface capability and all-weather performance. Equipped to take you on- or off-road with equal confidence, Lexus LX features a permanent 4WD system that sends power to all four wheels at all times. Should any wheel slip, Active Traction Control (A-TRAC) automatically applies brake force while simultaneously providing driving force to the wheels with grip. ADAPTIVE VARIABLE SUSPENSION AND MULTI-TERRAIN SELECT

The Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) intelligently senses road conditions then tailors suspension response for a consistently smooth ride. Multi-terrain Select lets you choose from five road condition modes –mud & sand, loose rock, mogul, rock, or rock & dirt — then automatically controls slip and grip so that you can tackle even exceptionally rough terrain with greater confidence.

ACTIVE HEIGHT CONTROL

Active Height Control (X-AHC) lets you rise to the challenge of virtually any surface. The system automatically raises LX when extra ground clearance is required, or lowers the vehicle for improved aerodynamics when cruising at highway speeds.

BLIND SPOT MONITOR WITH REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT

LSS+ complements LX’s network of comprehensive safety systems, including standard Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) with Rear Cross Traffic Alert. BSM helps you to change lanes with confidence, warning you of vehicles positioned in adjacent lanes. For added peace of mind, RCTA warns you vehicles approaching from either side when backing out of a parking spot.

INTUITIVE PARKING ASSIST

It’s not always possible to see everything around you, especially when parking. Intuitive Parking Assist employs a series of sensors strategically integrated into your LX, designed to detect surrounding objects. The system then notifies you of a detected object’s location and proximity, using an audible tone and an indicator on the multimedia screen.
